Application Materials for Housing
2008-2009 ACADEMIC YEAR
University Housing Services is now also accepting applications for the 2008-2009 Academic Year. To complete the application process, all applicants must apply online, and submit all necessary 2008-2009 License Materials along with initial payment. A non-refundable application fee of $40.00 will be charged to the prospective resident’s SJSU account upon receipt of a completed license or rental agreement. This fee is charged to cover the administrative cost of processing the rental application for a campus housing facility. Beginning spring 2009, this fee will be required when submitting an application. No room assignments will be issued to applicants who have not completed this process. 2008-2009 LICENSE Forms & Policies
- Checklist (PDF) - Please follow checklist to ensure that you follow the proper steps to apply for on-campus housing here at SJSU. These are important Housing application materials you will need to read & complete, in addition to the on-line application.
- 2008-2009 License Agreement Booklet (PDF) - Your License Agreement Booklet (PDF) includes all University Housing Services policies, information on meal plans, parking, fees, and payment charts. The 2007-2008 License Agreement Booklet, also contains 2007-2008 final rates, initial payments and policies.
- Themed Community - Describes each building and living option available to students.
- 2008-2009 License Agreement Form (PDF) - This is your contract with University Housing Services for your 2007-2008 living arrangement. This form is a legally binding document. At the end of your on-line application, you will be asked to print, sign, and mail this document to University Housing Services. Your University Housing Services application is not complete without this form.
- Emergency Information Form (PDF) - Required for all residents.
- Meningococcal Form (PDF) - Required for new housing residents. If you have already submitted a Meningococcal Form to Housing in the past, you will not have to re-submit.
- Megan's Law Disclosure - Registered Sex Offenders Notice
- 2008-2009 Parking Permit Request Form (PDF) - Optional form - Residents living in the Student Apartments, Suites or Faculty/Staff/Guest Apartments have the option of purchasing a parking permit for the underground Campus Village Parking Garage. You will also be asked to print, complete, and mail this form to Housing if you are interested in purchasing a permit. Fees are described in the License Agreement Booklet. Another parking option for residents is the Seventh Street Garage. Permits for that garage are issued by SJSU Parking & Transportation Services.
- 2008-2009 Paper Application (PDF) - If you have lived in housing before, or cannot utilize the online application, you may print out a paper application. These applications will have a delay in processing.
SUMMER 2008 HOUSING
Summer Housing Applications are now available! To complete the application process, all applicants must apply online and submit all necessary Summer 2008 License Materials along with applicable payment.

2007-2008 lICENSE Forms & Policies
If you are interested in spring housing, you must apply online, and submit all necessary 2008 Spring License Materials along with initial payment. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Don’t forget to make your initial housing payment! Payments can be submitted as a check (payable to SJSU Housing) with your license forms. Payments can also be submitted on-line.
