2009-2010 LICENSE Forms & Policies
University Housing Services is now accepting applications for the 2009-2010 Academic Year. To complete the application process, all applicants must apply online, pay a $50 non-refundable application fee, and submit all necessary 2009-2010 License Materials along with initial payment of $600. No apartment assignments will be issued to applicants who have not completed this process. (See checklist below for more information.)
On-Campus Housing is available to provide support to new Faculty, Staff & Graduate Students seeking housing in the Bay area. The high cost of living in the Silicon Valley is an obstacle to many potential SJSU community members, but those who are able to make it work benefit from the opportunities in this unique area.
- Checklist (PDF) - Please follow checklist to ensure that you follow the proper steps to apply for on-campus housing here at SJSU. These are important Housing application materials you will need to read & complete, in addition to the on-line application.
- 2009-2010 License Agreement Booklet (PDF) - Your License Agreement Booklet (PDF) includes all University Housing Services policies, information on meal plans, parking, fees, and payment charts. The 2009-2010 License Booklet does not contain approved rates at this time. Rates will be posted upon Presidential approval.
- 2009-2010 License Agreement Form (PDF) - Mandatory - This is your contract with University Housing Services for your 2009-2010 living arrangement. This form is a legally binding document. At the end of your on-line application, you will be asked to print, sign, and mail this document to University Housing Services. Your University Housing Services application is not complete without this form.
- 2009-2010 Parking Permit Request Form (PDF) - (Optional) - Apartments residents have the option of purchasing a parking permit for the underground Campus Village Parking Garage. You will also be asked to print, complete, and mail this form to Housing if you are interested in purchasing a permit. Fees are described in the License Agreement Booklet. Another parking option for residents is the Seventh Street Garage. Permits for that garage are issued by SJSU Parking & Transportation Services.
- University Housing Services Paper Application (PDF) - (Optional if Unable to Apply Online Only) Please note: Paper Applications require additional processing which may result in a delay.
A $ 50 non-refundable application fee is due to complete the application process. This payment can only be paid online by navigating to SJSU Marketplace. Applications will not be processed without receipt of this fee in advance.

- $1,360 - One Bedroom unfurnished
- $1,485 - One Bedroom furnished
- $1,730 - Two Bedroom unfurnished
- $1,930 - Two Bedroom furnished
- $1,015 - SRO unfurnished
- $1,090 - SRO furnished
PLEASE NOTE: When all necessary documents have been completed and submitted, University Housing Services will contact all Faculty/Staff/Graduate Student Housing applicants.
